Kidney

CAUTION

Levovamp Syrup Mango should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Levovamp Syrup Mango may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Levovamp Syrup Mango is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Levovamp Syrup Mango is recommended.
However, dose adjustments may be required in severe liver disease. Consult your doctor before giving Levocetirizine to your child in case of severe liver disease.

What if you forget to take Levovamp Syrup?

Do not panic. Unless your child’s doctor has advised a specific regime for your child, administer the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for the next dose. Do not give a double dose to catch up on any missed dose, follow the prescribed dosing schedule strictly.

Dry mouth can occur as a side effect of taking Levovamp Syrup Mango. Taking sips of water may help.
Levovamp Syrup Mango can trigger constipation in your child. Give plenty of fluids and a fiber-rich diet to your child.
Levovamp Syrup Mango should be avoided in children who are less than 4 years of age as there is a risk of respiratory distress.
Your doctor has prescribed Levovamp Syrup Mango to help relieve allergy symptoms such as itching, swelling, and rashes.
As compared to other similar medications, it is much less likely to make you feel sleepy.
Be cautious while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as it can cause dizziness and sleepiness.
Do not drink alcohol while taking this medication as it may cause increased sleepiness.
Stop taking Levovamp Syrup Mango at least three days before taking an allergy test as it can affect the test results.
