Introduction of Zicfix CV Syrup

Zicfix CV Syrup is a combination medicine. It is prescribed to treat various types of bacterial infections. It fights against the microorganisms to prevent their growth and further spread of the infection.

Zicfix CV Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Zicfix CV Syrup1 and Zicfix CV Syrup2.

In Treatment of Bacterial infections

Zicfix CV Syrup helps treat infections that are caused by bacteria. It contains two medicines, Cefixime, and Clavulanic acid. Cefixime stops the growth of infection-causing bacteria. Clavulanic Acid enhances the activity of Cefixime against the bacteria as well as reduces resistance of the bacteria to the antibiotic. This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all the infectious bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

Side effects of Zicfix CV Syrup

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How to use Zicfix CV Syrup

Zicfix CV Syrup is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Driving
UNSAFE
Zicfix CV Syrup may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Zicfix CV Syrup may cause side effects such as allergic reactions, dizziness or fits that may make you unfit to drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
Zicfix CV Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Zicfix CV Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
CAUTION
Zicfix CV Syrup should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Zicfix CV Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

  • You have been prescribed this combination medicine to treat bacterial infections even if they have developed resistance.Β 
  • Take it with food and plenty of fluids to avoid an upset stomach.
