IA2 Insulin Autoantibodies

IA2 Insulin Autoantibodies test helps detect type I diabetes. IA2 insulin autoantibodies are produced by the immune system associated with type 1 diabetes. Thus the testing of these autoantibodies helps to rule out the risk of developing type 1 diabetes. These autoantibodies are the better marker of blood sugar levels. This test helps to identify the onset of type I diabetes in individuals with or without symptoms, to identify individuals with a high risk of developing type I diabetes and to distinguish between type I and type II diabetes.
