Asomex CV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) with high cholesterol levels. It also helps to reduce the risk of stroke and heart attack.

Pregnancy

Asomex CV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
Breast feeding

Asomex CV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Driving

Asomex CV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Asomex CV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet may cause side effects such as dizziness, headaches, nausea or tiredness, all of which could affect your ability to concentrate and drive.
Kidney
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Asomex CV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Asomex CV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet is recommended.
However, inform your doctor if you have any underlying kidney disease.
Liver
CAUTION
Asomex CV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Asomex CV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Use of Asomex CV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

What if you forget to take Asomex CV Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Asomex CV 5 mg/10 mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
