Kcet AB 10mg/5mg/200mg Tablet is used in the prevention of asthma. It helps in relaxing the muscles of the air passages, thus widening them and making it easier to breathe. It also relieves allergic symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, itching, swelling and rashes.

Kcet AB 10mg/5mg/200mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Kcet AB 10mg/5mg/200mg Tablet1, Kcet AB 10mg/5mg/200mg Tablet2, and Kcet AB 10mg/5mg/200mg Tablet3.

In Asthma

Kcet AB 10mg/5mg/200mg Tablet works by reducing and preventing swelling and inflammation in your lungs. It is used to prevent the symptoms of asthma such as tightness in your chest, wheezing, breathlessness and coughing. It also relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing and watery eyes. It may take a few weeks for this medicine to show full effects. This medicine will not stop an asthma attack that has already started. In order to prevent future attacks, it is important to identify asthma triggers and avoid them and take your medications as prescribed.

  • You have been prescribed Kcet AB 10mg/5mg/200mg Tablet for prevention of asthma.
  • Take it at the same time each day, preferably in the evening after food.
  • Do not take it with any fruit juices (such as apple, orange, or grapefruit) as they might make the drug less effective.
  • It does not work right away and should not be used to relieve sudden breathing problems. Use your rescue inhaler to control sudden difficulty in breathing. 
  • Your doctor may take regular blood test to monitor the level of drug in your body.
  • Avoid using antacids within 30 minutes of taking this medicine. It can make it harder for your body to absorb this medication.
  • Notify your doctor if you smoke or have an viral infection. Your dose may need to be adjusted.
  • Do not discontinue use without consulting your doctor, even if you feel better.
