Solwax Ear Drop is to be used only in the affected ear in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Wash your hands before using this medicine. It is advised to check the label for directions before use. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better.

Stopping the medicine too early may lead to the infection returning or worsening. This medicine is generally safe to use and has minimal side effects. Paradichlorobenzene works by softening and assisting the removal of hardened ear wax. Chlorbutol is a preservative. Turpentine Oil causes warmth and redness which can help relieve pain in the ear. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic. It works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain which decreases sensation of pain.
