Amitriptyline+Pantoprazole is used in the treatment of acidity, heartburn and Anxiety.

How Amitriptyline + Pantoprazole works

Amitriptyline + Pantoprazole is a combination of two medicines: Amitriptyline and Pantoprazole which treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) associated with anxiety. Amitriptyline is a tricyclic antidepressant which increases the levels of chemical messengers in the brain that help in regulating the mood and treat depression. Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) which reduces the amount of acid in the stomach and relieves acid-related indigestion and heartburn.

Common side effects of Amitriptyline + Pantoprazole

Nausea, Diarrhea, Constipation, Stomach pain, Flatulence, Weight gain, Sedation, Difficulty in urination, Orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing), Blurred vision, Slow heart rate
