How Enoxaparin works
Enoxaparin is an anticoagulant. It works by inactivating certain blood-clotting proteins. This prevents the formation of blood clots and prevents blockages in the blood vessels of the body.
Common side effects of Enoxaparin
Anemia (low number of red blood cells), Allergic reaction, Fever, Headache, Low blood platelets, Increased liver enzymes, Hemorrhage, Ecchymosis (discoloration of the skin resulting from bleeding underneath), Nausea, Edema (swelling), Shortness of breath, Confusion, Thrombocytosis, Skin disorder, Injection site reactions (pain, swelling, redness), Heart attack
