Neurokab OD Capsule

Neurokab OD capsule  is a combination of methylcobalamin, pyridoxine, thiamine and folic acid. Methylcobalamin is used in peripheral neuropathy, diabetic neuropathy etc. It is a form of vitamin B12. This vitamin is one of two active coenzymes used by B-12 dependent enzymes in the body.
 
Methylcobalamin normalizes protein transport in the cells of diabetic patient. It exhibits inhibitory effects on nerve degeneration in people with neuropathies.Methylcobalamin accelerates the metabolic pathways of nucleic acids, proteins and lipids through its involvement in the transmethylation reaction; thus, it exerts a repairing effect on injured nerve tissues.
The trio of mecobalamin, pyridoxine and folic acid helps in bringing down the level of homocysteine in blood, the major factor for atherosclerosis. Thus, it reduces the major risk factors for atherosclerosis and neuropathies.

Neurokab OD capsule is used in anaemia, folate-deficient megaloblastic anaemia, prophylaxis in chronic haemolytic states or in renal dialysis, haemolytic anaemia, myelofibrosis, to prevent occurrence of neural tube defect, prevent recurrence of neural tube defect, vitamin deficiency. Besides, it is used for peripheral neuropathy, diabetic neuropathy, and treatment and prophylaxis of vitamin B6 deficiency states
