Bchol 50mg Tablet is used in the treatment of urinary retention (inability to urinate) which usually occurs following surgery or after giving birth. It helps to contract the muscles of the bladder which further leads to urination.

Bchol 50mg Tablet also helps to improve your exercise ability. It is advised to take it in a dose and duration as per prescription. It can be taken by empty stomach but take it at a fixed time regularly. Swallow the medicine as a whole without crushing or chewing it. You should not stop taking the medicine without consulting the doctor as it may lead to the worsening of your symptoms.

Some common side effects of this medicine are headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, arrhythmia, flushing, and sweating. It may also make you feel dizzy or sleepy, so it advised not to drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. If any of the side effects bother you or persist, consult the doctor without delay.

What if I forget to take a dose of Bchol 50mg Tablet?

If you miss a dose and remember within an hour of the scheduled dose then you can continue with your usual dose. If, however, the gap is more than two or more hours then do not take the medicine and wait until the next dose is due. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

Is Bchol 50mg Tablet an anticholinergic?

No, Bchol 50mg Tablet is not an anticholinergic, on the contrary it is a cholinergic medicine. It is used to relieve difficulties in urinating caused by surgery, post pregnancy, medicines, or other factors.
