Casrol L Syrup is a combination medicine used in the treatment of cough with mucus. It thins mucus in the nose, windpipe and lungs making it easier to cough out. It also relieves allergic symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing and also relieves minor throat irritation.

Casrol L Syrup gives relief from cough with mucus. It helps to loosen thick mucus, reduces its stickiness and thus makes it easier to cough out. This makes breathing easy and reduces the frequency of coughing. Casrol L Syrup will also relieve allergy symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose or throat irritation. Along with medications, drink enough luke warm water and gargle with warm salt water to ease the symptoms.

Casrol L Syrup

Casrol L Syrup is prescribed to get relief from cough with mucus.
Drink warm water to help loosen the congestion and lubricate your throat while you are taking this medication.
Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended. Use a proper measuring cup or spoon to measure the dosage.
If you are drowsy after taking Casrol L Syrup, you should not drive or operate any machinery.
In general, most coughs do not last more than 2 weeks. If your cough does last longer than this then its better to see your doctor.
Inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers or asthma.
Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications for e.g. anti-depressants.
Casrol L Syrup should not be given to kids.

Drink plenty of fluids to replace those lost from sweating and having a runny nose, get plenty of rest, eat healthily ? a low-fat, high-fibre diet is recommended, including plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. OTC drugs, gargling with salt water and sucking on menthol sweets can help relieve a sore throat and blocked nose, are generally safe for older children and adults to take, but might not be suitable for babies, young children. Avoid applying Vicks VapoRub to babies and toddlersPatient may need antibiotics and/or other prescription drugs.
