Kavfix-CV Dry Syrup is a combination medicine. It is prescribed to treat various types of bacterial infections. It fights against the microorganisms to prevent their growth and further spread of the infection.

Kavfix-CV Dry Syrup is a combination of two medicines: Kavfix-CV Dry Syrup1 and Kavfix-CV Dry Syrup2.

In Treatment of Bacterial infections

Kavfix-CV Dry Syrup helps treat infections that are caused by bacteria. It contains two medicines, Cefixime, and Clavulanic acid. Cefixime stops the growth of infection-causing bacteria. Clavulanic Acid enhances the activity of Cefixime against the bacteria as well as reduces resistance of the bacteria to the antibiotic. This medicine usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all the infectious bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

Side effects of Kavfix-CV Oral Suspension

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How to use Kavfix-CV Oral Suspension

Kavfix-CV Dry Syrup is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Driving

Kavfix-CV Dry Syrup may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Kavfix-CV Dry Syrup may cause side effects such as allergic reactions, dizziness or fits that may make you unfit to drive.
Kidney
CAUTION
Kavfix-CV Dry Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Kavfix-CV Dry Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Liver
CAUTION
Kavfix-CV Dry Syrup should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Kavfix-CV Dry Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Kavfix-CV Oral Suspension

  • You have been prescribed this combination medicine to treat bacterial infections even if they have developed resistance. 
  • Take it with food and plenty of fluids to avoid an upset stomach.
  • Finish the prescribed course, even if you start to feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat.
  • Diarrhea may occur as a side effect. Taking probiotics along with Kavfix-CV Dry Syrup may help. Talk to your doctor if you notice bloody stools or develop abdominal cramps.

The unnecessary doses are a potential health threat. need a provisional diagnosis to suggest you investigations or give opinion or advice medicine. In present situation provisional diagnosis cannot be done without taking into consideration details of history and findings of clinical examination and reports of investigations of patient. Final diagnosis is done after doing investigations if needed. Advice given without doing clinical examination and diagnosis can be imperfect or some time harmful to patient.
