Line Syrup is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Larger doses or more prolonged use of Line Syrup may cause drowsiness and other effects in the baby or decrease the milk supply

Driving

UNSAFE

Line Syrup may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

CAUTION

Line Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Line Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Line Syrup is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Line Syrup is recommended.
However, dose adjustments may be required in severe liver disease. Consult your doctor before giving Line Syrup to your child in case of severe liver disease.

What if you forget to take Line Syrup?

Do not panic. Unless your child’s doctor has advised a specific regime for your child, administer the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for the next dose. Do not give a double dose to catch up on any missed dose, follow the prescribed dosing schedule strictly.

Quick tips

Try giving the medicines at the same time each day, to help you remember.
Your child may feel sleepy or dizzy after each dose of Line Syrup. If this happens, make your child sit or lie down and ask them to be careful while performing tasks that require mental focus.
Avoid giving Line Syrup with fatty meals and fruit juice as both can reduce the absorption of the medicine.
Dry mouth can occur as a side effect of taking Line Syrup. Taking sips of water may help.
Line Syrup can trigger constipation in your child. Give plenty of fluids and a fiber-rich diet to your child.
Line Syrup should be avoided in children who are less than 4 years of age as there is a risk of respiratory distress.
Your doctor has prescribed Line Syrup to help relieve allergy symptoms such as itching, swelling, and rashes.
As compared to other similar medications, it is much less likely to make you feel sleepy.
Be cautious while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as it can cause dizziness and sleepiness.
Do not drink alcohol while taking this medication as it may cause increased sleepiness.
Stop taking Line Syrup at least three days before taking an allergy test as it can affect the test results.

Monitor temperature of Patient. If Patient has fever place a cool, damp washcloth on your child's forehead. Give your Patient a lukewarm tub bath or a sponge bath. Give a sponge bath as follows: - ? Use lukewarm water [90?F (32.2?C) to 95?F (35?C)]. Do not use cold water, ice, or rubbing alcohol, which will lower the child's body temperature too quickly. ? Sponge for 20 to 30 minutes. ? Stop if the child starts to shiver. If your child doesn't like the sponge bath or doesn't feel better after the bath, there is no need to give another one. You can use paracetamol also along with above measures to control fever till you consult Dr. will determine underlying disorders by clinical examination which range from mild conditions to the most serious of bacterial and viral illnesses and will prescribe medicines accordingly.
