Megavent Tablet is used for the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (a lung disorder in which the flow of air to the lungs is blocked). It helps in relaxing the muscles of the air passages and making it easier to breathe. It relieves coughing, wheezing and feeling short of breath.
Megavent Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Megavent Tablet1, Megavent Tablet2, and Megavent Tablet3.

In Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) is a group of lung diseases that cause breathing difficulties. COPD is caused by swelling of the airways that carry air in and out of the lungs. Megavent Tablet relaxes the muscles of these airways and widens it. It also loosens mucus and helps you to cough it out. This makes you breathe easy and gives relief from symptoms such as tightness in your chest, shortness of breath, wheezing and coughing. Avoid smoking and minimise your exposure to pollution, dust and fumes. Along with that, a little exercise each day can help you stay strong. Talk to your doctor about how much exercise is good for you.

How to use Megavent Tablet

Megavent Tablet
- You have been prescribed Megavent Tablet for the treatment of asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
- It does not work right away and should not be used to relieve sudden breathing problems. Always keep a fast-acting (rescue) inhaler with you.
- If at any time your breathing gets worse or you notice muscle twitching or weakness, or an irregular heartbeat, please contact your doctor or nurse for advice straightaway.
- Inform your doctor if you have heart problems, high blood pressure, or diabetes.
- Tell your doctor about all other medicines you have used in the past 14 days, especially water pills, anti-depressant, or medicines for heart problems.
