Mesacol Tablet DR is an anti-inflammatory medicine used to treat a type of bowel disease known as ulcerative colitis. It helps to reduce symptoms such as diarrhea, bleeding and stomach pain by reducing inflammation in the bowel.

Mesacol Tablet DR can relieve these symptoms and also help you to stay well by preventing them from coming back. There are many different brands and your doctor will decide which is most suitable for you. You need to take this medicine regularly to get the most out of it and you should drink plenty of fluids while taking it to make sure you stay hydrated.

In Crohn’s disease

Crohn’s disease is a chronic (long-term) inflammatory disease of the intestines. The most common symptoms are diarrhea and pain in your abdomen. Mesacol Tablet DR helps reduce the inflammation, relieve the symptoms, and prevent them from coming back.

Side effects of Mesacol Tablet DR

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Hi, I was diagnosed for Ulcerative Colitis in 2009. I was administered with Mesacol , I was back to normal. In past 1 month , after having food lunch or dinner I feel uneasy such as indigestion, having to force for motions next day. Sometimes Iam unable to pass motions. I feel tired also. Pls suggest.
