Dr. I was suffering from severe headache, dizziness, and nausea. When i consulted with my doctor. He suggested me for a spinal & brain MRI. After watching my MRI reports he told me that i am suffering from Vestubal Migraine. And he advised me the following intake of medicines:- 1) Tab. Migitus 1-1/2 2) Tab Topate-25. OD 3) Cap. Cobadex Forte. OD 4) Tab. migragesic. Sos 5) Tab. Minado. Sos 6) Vitamin D3. Evening one tab. I am taking the medicines from some 4 days, but in these days my hands and feet are getting numb. I have to go for urinal very often in the night (3-4 times) and i am also feeling mild pain in my neck. Dr. I am enclosing herewith my MRI report. Please Dr. suggest me what should i do for a better health and to get rid off this pain. Hello doctor could you please help me relieving from the problem, as i have discussed earlier.

Use of Migitus 5mg Tablet SR is considered to be harmful for patients with allergy to any of the ingredients or excipients of this medicine. This medicine contains propranolol, so its use should be avoided in patients with asthma, slow heart rate, abnormal heart rhythms, or heart conditions like AV block or sick sinus syndrome. Since this medicine also contains flunarizine, the use of this medicine should be avoided in patients with the history of depression or Parkinson's disease.

What are the instructions for the storage and disposal of Migitus 5mg Tablet SR?

Keep Migitus 5mg Tablet SR in the container or the pack it came in, tightly closed. Store it according to the instructions mentioned on the pack or label. Dispose of the unused medicine. Make sure it is not consumed by pets, children and other people.

Can I stop taking Migitus 5mg Tablet SR when my symptoms are improved?

Migitus 5mg Tablet SR is given as a prophylactic treatment for the prevention of migraine headaches. This medicine contains propranolol and a sudden withdrawal of propranolol may cause sweating, shaking, irregular or fast heartbeat, worsening of underlying angina or heart attack. Can Migitus 5mg Tablet SR be used for the treatment of a migraine headache?

No, Migitus 5mg Tablet SR does not help in relieving a migraine headache that has already started. It can only be used for preventing any new episode of migraine headaches.
