Introduction of Myospaz Tablet

Myospaz Tablet is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of pain due to muscle spasms. It improves the movement of muscles and provides relief from pain and discomfort associated with muscle spasms.

Myospaz Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Myospaz Tablet1 and Myospaz Tablet2.

In Treatment of Pain due to muscle spasm

Myospaz Tablet treats pain due to muscle spasms by relaxing stiff muscles. It also reduces swelling in the muscles. Altogether, it helps in easy movement and reduces discomfort. Myospaz Tablet also reduces fever associated with muscle spasms. Once you see some improvement, you can start doing therapy exercises (such as walking or breathing exercises) that will help you get your strength back more quickly. Talk to your doctor about how much exercise is good for you.

Side effects of Myospaz Tablet

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

How to use Myospaz Tablet

Myospaz Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Myospaz Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
However, the use of Myospaz Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

What if you forget to take Myospaz Tablet?

If you miss a dose of Myospaz Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Myospaz Tablet

What is Myospaz Tablet?

Myospaz Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Paracetamol and Chlorzoxazone. This medication helps in relieving muscle pain. Chlorzoxazone is a muscle relaxant which works by acting on the central nervous system. Paracetamol works by lowering the chemical substance (prostaglandins) in the body that causes pain.

Is it safe to use Myospaz Tablet?

Myospaz Tablet is safe for most of the patients. However, in some patients it may cause common side effects like stomach upset, dizziness, weakness, sleepiness and other uncommon or rare side effects. If you experience any persistent problem due to the medication, inform your doctor as soon as possible.

Can I stop taking Myospaz Tablet when my pain is relieved?

Myospaz Tablet should be continued according to the doctor’s advice. However, it can be discontinued if you are using it for short-term pain relief.

Can the use of Myospaz Tablet cause dry mouth?

Yes, the use of Myospaz Tablet can cause dry mouth. If you experience dry mouth, drink plenty of water. Take regular sips during the day and keep some water by your bed at night. You may use lip balm if your lips are also dry.

Can the use of Myospaz Tablet cause dizziness?

Yes, the use of Myospaz Tablet can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, it is better to rest for some time and resume once you feel better. Do not drive or use any machines.

Can I take a higher than the recommended dose of this medicine?

No, taking a higher than the recommended dose of Myospaz Tablet can increase the risks of side effects. If you are experiencing increased severity of pain or the pain is not relieved by the recommended doses, please consult your doctor for re-evaluation.

Are there any specific contraindications associated with the use of Myospaz Tablet?

The use of Myospaz Tablet is considered to be harmful for patients with known allergy to any of the components or excipients of this medicine. Patients who regularly consume alcohol or have severe kidney or liver disease are advised to be cautious.

Does Myospaz Tablet expire?

Yes, Myospaz Tablet does expire. Please check the expiry date written on the pack of this medicine. Do not use Myospaz Tablet after the expiry date.
