Hi, I had kidney stone stuck in my right ureter and had Shock wave (ESWL) therapy to break it. The blocking stone has passed and there is one stone of size 5mm left in right kidney lower pole for which my doctor prescribed Potrate syrup 3 times a day. Such people include those with chronic renal failure, uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, acute dehydration, those who do strenuous exercise, or suffer from adrenal insufficiency, extensive tissue breakdown, or those taking potassium-sparing agents (such as triamterene, spironolactone or amiloride). People with delayed gastric emptying, esophageal compression, intestinal obstruction or stricture, or those taking anticholinergic medications should also refrain from taking Potrate-MB6 Oral Solution Orange. People who have peptic ulcer disease, active urinary tract infection, or renal insufficiency (glomerular filtration rate of less than 0.7 ml/kg/min) should also not take Potrate-MB6 Oral Solution Orange.
