Reethy 50mg Syrup is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.
Avoid prolonged use of Reethy 50mg Syrup, since it may have possible effects such as rash and diarrhea.

Driving

Reethy 50mg Syrup does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

CAUTION

Reethy 50mg Syrup should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Reethy 50mg Syrup may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Liver

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Reethy 50mg Syrup is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Reethy 50mg Syrup is recommended.
However, consult with your child’s doctor before giving Reethy 50mg Syrup to your child in case of a severe form of liver disease.

What if you forget to take Reethy Syrup?

Unless your child’s doctor has advised a specific regime for your child, you can give the missed dose as soon as you remember. Skip the missed dose if it’s almost time for the next dose. Do not give the double dose to catch up and follow the prescribed dosing schedule.

Quick tips

Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again, become resistant, or cause another infection.
Give this medicine with food to avoid an upset stomach.
Encourage your child to drink plenty of water in case diarrhea develops as a side effect.
Conditions like common cold and flu are caused by viruses. Never use this medicine for such conditions.
Only give Reethy 50mg Syrup to your child for their current infection. Never save medicine for future illnesses.
