Sumcef LZ 200mg/600mg Tablet is a prescription medicine that is advised to be taken as suggested by the doctor. Do not consume more than the recommended dose, as an overdose of it may have harmful effects on your body. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. The treatment must be completed even if you feel better to ensure a complete recovery.
Sumcef LZ 200mg/600mg Tablet may lead to some side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, loss of appetite, indigestion, etc. To overcome any such side effects, it is advised to eat a healthy balanced diet and drink plenty of fluid. If you experience any allergic reaction (rashes, itching, swelling, shortness of breath, etc.), you must consult your doctor immediately.

In Treatment of Bacterial infections
Sumcef LZ 200mg/600mg Tablet used to treat certain bacterial infections such as pneumonia (a lung infection), bronchitis (infection of the tubes leading to the lungs), gonorrhea (a sexually transmitted disease), and infections of the ears, throat, stomach, and urinary tract. It works by stopping the growth of the bacteria causing infection. Sumcef LZ 200mg/600mg Tablet also restores the level of good bacteria in your stomach and thus prevents stomach upset due to the antibiotics. It is advisable to continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all bacteria are killed. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and difficult to treat.

How Sumcef LZ Tablet works
Sumcef LZ 200mg/600mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines. Cefixime is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering (cell wall) which is needed for them to survive. Linezolid is also an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Lactic acid bacillus is bacteria. It promotes the growth of good bacteria in the gut for proper digestion. Thus, it helps to prevent diarrhea that may occur as the side effects of Cefixime and Linezolid. This is how it treats bacterial infections.
