Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Trubose Forte 60mg/500mg/0.3mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Trubose Tablet works
Trubose Forte 60mg/500mg/0.3mg Tablet is a combination of three anti-diabetic medicines: Nateglinide, Metformin, and Voglibose, that act in different ways. Nateglinide increases the amount of insulin released by the pancreas which prevents blood glucose from rising very high after meals. Metformin, on the other hand, works by lowering glucose production in the liver, delaying the absorption of sugar (glucose) from the intestines, and increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin. Voglibose inhibits the intestinal enzymes responsible for breaking complex sugars into simple sugars such as glucose. This prevents blood glucose levels from rising very high immediately after meals.
