No, Adroyd 5mg Tablet is not a steroid or an antihistamine. It belongs to a class of medications called adrenergic medicines that are used as nasal decongestants (to relieve congestion of the nose).
Q. Is Adroyd 5mg Tablet safe?
Adroyd 5mg Tablet is safe if used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Take it exactly as directed and do not skip any dose. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully and let your doctor know if any of the side effects bother you.
Q. Does Adroyd 5mg Tablet cause cataract/keep you awake/ raise blood pressure/insomnia/drowsiness?
There are no such reports which suggest occurrence of side effects such as cataract, insomnia (inability to sleep) or drowsiness during treatment with Adroyd 5mg Tablet. However, Adroyd 5mg Tablet can raise blood pressure when taken with medicines that are used to treat depression, like selegiline and moclobemide. It can also decrease the effect of medicines used to treat blood pressure. Hence, patients should consult doctors regarding the possible side effects and drug interactions.
Q. Can I take Adroyd 5mg Tablet with Benadryl (diphenhydramine)/ phenylephrine/ pseudoephedrine?
