Diflusenz

Diflusenz 0.05% Eye Drop is generally prescribed for 7 days. You should take this medicine for a duration given by your doctor. Avoid prolonged use, as it may cause unwanted side effects.

Avoid prolonged use, as it may cause cataracts (clouding of the eye) and also increases the risk of a secondary eye infection. Also, do not wear contact lenses while using this eyedrop.

Instill one drop of Diflusenz 0.05% Eye Drop into the affected eye 4 times daily starting 24 hours after surgery and continuing throughout the first 2 weeks of the postoperative period, then<br>reduce as determined by your doctor based on the clinical response. Always consult your doctor if you have any doubts and follow his instructions and dosage in using the eye drop.

Before you are prescribed this medicine, inform your doctor if you have a history of eye allergy, eye infections, glaucoma (increased pressure in the eye, diabetes, or are allergic to steroids since the component in this eye drop (difluprednate) is a steroid.

While using this medicine, your doctor will prescribe you eye tests frequently to monitor eye pressure. This is because with Diflusenz 0.05% Eye Drop there is a risk for an increase in pressure inside the eye or the formation of cataracts, both of which can lead to gradual vision loss.
