No, Ecnoz Nasal Spray is not a steroid or an antihistamine. It belongs to a class of medications called adrenergic medicines that are used as nasal decongestants (to relieve congestion of the nose).

Ecnoz Nasal Spray is safe if used in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Take it exactly as directed and do not skip any dose. Follow your doctor's instructions carefully and let your doctor know if any of the side effects bother you.

However, Ecnoz Nasal Spray can raise blood pressure when taken with medicines that are used to treat depression, like selegiline and moclobemide.
