How Eklot T Products work

Ethamsylate + Mefenamic Acid is a combination of two medicines: Ethamsylate + Mefenamic Acid1 and Ethamsylate + Mefenamic Acid2. Ethamsylate + Mefenamic Acid1 is an antifibrinolytic. It works by preventing the breakdown of clots and controls excessive bleeding during menstruation (periods). Ethamsylate + Mefenamic Acid2 is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).
