How Utistat Products work

Ciprofloxacin + Phenazopyridine is a combination of two medicines: Ciprofloxacin + Phenazopyridine1 and Ciprofloxacin + Phenazopyridine2. Ciprofloxacin + Phenazopyridine1 is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria that cause urinary tract infections by preventing the bacterial cells from dividing and repairing. Ciprofloxacin + Phenazopyridine2 is urinary tract analgesic (pain reliever). It is excreted in the urine, where it exerts a pain relieving effect on the lining of the urinary tract. This action helps relieve pain, burning and irritation.
