Understanding MRI Orbits
What is MRI Orbits?
Magnetic Resonance Imaging the brain is a painless process that requires little to no preparation before the testing. It uses a magnetic field and radio waves to create detailed images of the brain and brainstem. The MRI can detect a variety of conditions such as tumours, cysts, infections, swellings, etc. It can detect any effects caused by a stroke or an injury.
The MRI can help find causes for persistent headaches, weakness, dizziness, seizures, etc. it can even help detect diseases of the nervous system like multiple sclerosis. In some cases, when a CT scan or X-ray can’t provide clear images, the MRI is necessary and is very valuable in identifying problems and diseases in the brain.
